Youth FREE registration - 8 sessions

Centre[3] & Lynwood Charlton Centre are offering special [Shift] programming for young people: [Shift] for professional skills development and learning to cope with mental health challenges! This program is FREE and available for youth ages 15-29.

One registration includes all 8 weekly sessions:

  • Centre[3] [Shift] workshops: August 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18 (10am-12pm)
    • Shift uses the arts as a way to help youth with developing soft skills employers are looking for!
    • Learn life skills that can help you get a job and keep it as a young person
    • Soft skills are the different communication, personal and social skills that we use to help us fit into a working environment while advocating for ourselves
    • Learn in a fun, creative and safe way through visual art activities, including a personal logo design. The best part? Your logo will be silkscreen printed onto a t-shirt for you to keep 🙂
  • OurSpace youth session: August 10, 16 (3-3:30pm)
    • Learn skills and strategies to take care of your mental health in a workplace
    • Learn how to have challenging conversations at work

NOTE: Registration closes 90 minutes before the first session starts

These courses will take place online via Zoom and Adobe Connect, with all materials provided. To receive materials, contactless pick-up at Centre[3] is available!
