Psychosis 101

In this session, the Cleghorn team will discuss what psychosis is, breaking down its “anatomy”, its three phases and reasons for why it develops. The team will also share about the Cleghorn Clinic and offer some tips on how to engage youth who may be experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Finally, the Youth Peer Mentor will share about their episode of psychosis to illustrate their experiences.
The content of this session may be suited for youths 16 and older. Services at Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic is available to young people 16 and older.
