PrizePicks has signed Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards to a multi-year deal as its first National Basketball Association brand ambassador.

Edwards, a former No. 1 overall pick and four-time All-Star, will appear in advertising and social media campaigns for the daily fantasy sports and sports entertainment company.

"Teaming up with PrizePicks feels like an Atlanta homecoming, and I couldn't be more excited to join the squad," said Edwards. "The 'Run Your Game' energy is what I'm all about, and I can't wait for people to see everything we're cooking up together."

The "Run Your Game" slogan is the company's marketing campaign, part of its messaging around the excitement and individuality of making sports predictions.

Unlike more conventional athlete endorsement deals, the Edwards partnership with PrizePicks extends into media production, sneaker marketing and entertainment content.

A part of the relationship will include a collaboration between "Three Fifths Media," Edwards' media production company, created along with AE5 Enterprises co-founder Justin Holland.

Holland has signed on with PrizePicks as a strategic adviser.

The first collaboration will be the satirical, digital-first Believe That Awards, created and hosted by Edwards, which hands out unconventional awards and covers sports, pop culture, comedy, and celebrity.

PrizePicks will serve as the event's presenting sponsor, offering a free-to-play game with chances to win cash and autographed AE3 basketball shoes. AE3 are Edwards' line of adidas shoes.

The partnership launched with a promotional video in which PrizePicks and Edwards teamed up in a skit to respond to a popular sneaker ad by fellow NBA superstar Kevin Durant and Canadian rapper Drake that poked fun at the purple AE3 shoes.

The skit delivers a purple colorway of Edwards' newly released shoe to a raucous crowd in Minnesota.

PrizePicks will also support Edwards' nonprofit foundation, "Don't Follow the Wave," by contributing to its workforce development initiatives.

Edwards will pair with comedian Druski in brand campaigns and featured content. PrizePicks recently announced an extended partnership with Druski.

PrizePicks senior vice president of partnerships Joey Molko said the company is honoured to welcome one of the biggest stars in all of sports to the PrizePicks family.

Molko said Edwards has a unique ability to command the spotlight, but what makes him truly special is his authenticity and the way he connects with fans.

He said the partnership is such a natural fit because Edwards embodies the boldness and personality of the PrizePicks community.

The company is headquartered in Atlanta and operates in more than 45 jurisdictions nationwide. The company is an official daily fantasy sports partner of the NBA and the Women's National Basketball Association.

In 2025, PrizePicks announced a partnership with Polymarket, taking it into the prediction market space.
