Pragmatic Play launches pirate candy slot Sweet Loot with multiplier reel
The new 6x6 grid game features a top row with multipliers up to 500x and a dual bonus game system.
Pragmatic Play has launched a new online slot called Sweet Loot, featuring a pirate theme set in a candy land with a unique horizontal multiplier reel. The game uses a 6x6 grid where wins are awarded for landing eight or more matching gummy pirate symbols anywhere on the board. A special row above reels two through five can carry multiplier values of up to 500x on its symbols, with the sum of all multipliers in a winning combination boosting the total payout. Landing four to six scatter symbols triggers the main bonus game, awarding 10 to 30 free spins and an instant cash prize of up to 2,000 times the bet. During these free spins, at least one multiplier symbol is guaranteed to land on every spin. Landing three more scatters during the bonus awards five additional free spins.
“We wanted to give Sweet Loot a distinctive personality, bringing a colourful cast of gummy pirates into a treasure-hunting adventure,” said Sharon McHugh, director of public relations at Pragmatic Play. “The horizontal reel adds an interesting dimension to the gameplay, with its changing multiplier values creating a sense of anticipation as each tumble unfolds.”
A separate Super Free Spins feature is unlocked if the bonus is triggered with Super Scatters. In this enhanced mode, all four symbol positions on the top horizontal row carry a multiplier for the duration of the feature. The gummy-inspired slot awards wins for landing 8 to 12 or more matching symbols. Sweet Loot is the latest addition to Pragmatic Play's award-winning slot portfolio. The company described the title as bringing together a playful pirate theme and multiplier-driven features for a colourful new adventure. It follows recent releases Sweet Bonanza POP and Big Bass Splash Halloween 1000. The game combines dual bonus games with multiplier-fuelled action. Symbols on the top row can carry multipliers of up to 500x. Triggering the feature with Super Scatters unlocks Super Free Spins, where all four symbols on the top row carry a multiplier.
