BACK TO SCHOOL TRANSITIONS: COPING WITH STRESS, PLANNING FOR SUCCESS

Are you worried about getting back into a school routine this fall? Are you expecting the transition to be hard for your child or youth? Feeling overwhelmed about all the changes and how they affect your family? This session for families shares tips to help you feel more prepared for going back to school including:
- Restarting and adapting daily routines
- Helping your child or youth get comfortable with new expectations (ex. wearing masks, physical distancing)
- Helping your child or youth cope with worries and uncertainties
- Managing your own worries about changes and uncertainties about school
